The purpose of this blog is to motivate, or failing that embarrass, me into tackling my metal mountain/plastic pile and, latterly, laser cut MDF collection. I will also attempt to explain and share my wargaming thoughts and antics!

Painting During January
I have surprised myself during January with the number of figures I have managed to finish.
The list is as follows:
28mm
40 x Perry plastic WotR Dismounted Men at Arms
3 x Perry WotR Command Figures
12 x Perry plastic WotR Billmen
8 x Perry plastic Mounted Men at Arms
18 x Foundry Indian Mutiny Loyal Madras foot.
5 x Mutineer Miniatures Indian Mutiny Medium Guns
20 x Mutineer Miniatures Indian Mutiny Mutineer Gun Crew
This totals 93 foot, 8 cavalry and 5 guns, probably more than I managed in the whole of 2014!!
15mm
24 x Essex ECW Scots Covenanter foot
9 x Essex ECW Gun Crew
4 x Essex Light Guns
Plus touching up and basing 64 foot and 28 cavalry
The really good news is that I can now say that my War of the Roses project is complete and that the surplus bits and pieces have been set aside for sale at the next Bring and Buy I get to.
The sudden desire to paint 15mm has been prompted by my 2 recent visits to the Weymouth Levellers who are currently in the early stages of playtesting Peter Pig's rewrite of the Regiment of Foote rules and the fact that I knew I had a 15mm Essex Miniatures Scots Covenanters Army part painted and unbased somewhere in the metal mountain.
All in all a bloody good month; all I need to do is keep this momentum going!!
